1. What is included in the price of my slideshow?

Every slideshow includes photo enhancement (color correction, cropping, brightening, restoration, etc.), professional transitions between photos, pan/zoom effects on every picture, a customized DVD menu, and one final professionally labeled copy of your slideshow on CD, VCD or DVD.

2. How long will my slideshow take to complete?

Photos Transferred to DVD will have your slideshow completed three to four weeks from the time we receive your photos and music selections. Extremely complex or large orders may take longer. During the Winter Holiday season (October through December) and during the Spring and early Summer (graduation and wedding season), our turnaround time can be up to 28 business days. Photos Transferred to DVD can accommodate rush orders if necessary. If you need your order completed and returned in less than 10 business days, please contact us before ordering.

3. How many photos do I need to make up a 5, 10 or 20 minute production?

• 50 photos result approximately in a 6 to 8 minute production.

• 100 photos result approximately in a 8 to 12 minute production.

• 150 photos can be 12 to 14 minutes long.

• 500 photos…more than an hour

4. How long will each photo appear on the screen?

Each photo will appear for between 5-10 seconds. Six seconds is the average but this can vary depending on the number of people in each picture or special significance of a specific picture.

5. Are additional copies of my slideshow available?

Additional copies are available for a greatly reduced price. All copies are presented exactly like the original - fully labeled and packaged. Photos Transferred to DVD slideshows make wonderful and unique gifts for friends and family.

6. How do I know what type of DVD my player accepts?

Look at the back of your DVD player and obtain the brand and model number. Then go to VideoHelp.com and locate the Search Player field. Enter your DVD player information and click Search. Scroll down until you locate your exact DVD player's information. The compatible DVD media types are listed (DVD R, DVD-R or both). If your DVD player is NOT compatible with DVD R media, please request DVD-R media on your order form.

7. Can I order a slideshow on VHS?

At this time Photos Transferred to DVD only offers slideshows on CD, VCD or DVD.

8. Can you scan all of my non-digital photos?

Photos Transferred to DVD uses professional scanning equipment and employs technicians trained in determining the optimal setting for each photo/image we scan. Because our scanning prices are so low, we strongly encourage our clients to send their original photos and allow us to scan them at the proper resolution - ensuring that your photos and images will look their absolute best. We can scan 35mm print photographs (up to 8x10 in size), processed photos (like you get at Wal-Mart, CVS, etc.) and instant photographs (such as Polaroids). We can also scan paper media, such as wedding invitations, newspaper clippings, wedding and graduation announcements, high school and college diplomas, birth announcements, birth certificates, marriage licenses... just about anything! We can also include a separate photo-CD of your scanned photos and images, in digital format, in addition to your DVD slideshow!

9. Can you fix my damaged photos?

Digital correction of minor flaws is only available to our customers. Photos Transferred to DVD is able to digitally correct most minor flaws such as:

• Red-eye correction
• Slight blurriness
• Color / Tint imperfections
• Minor tears / folds
• Small amounts of lens dust
• Minor spots / fingerprints
• Some minor water / moisture damage

10. Can you scan negatives and slides?

At this time Photos Transferred to DVD can scan only print photographs.

11. How can I send in my photos?

If you have digital photos you can send us a photo-CD via postal mail. If you have print photos you may send them via postal mail or via overnight/priority mail service if you are concerned for their safety. Photos Transferred to DVD will be happy to provide you with a street address if you wish to use direct-delivery service. Contact us for more information.

12. What format/quality do the pictures need to be?

We recommend sending digitized pictures in .JPG format at least 100KB in size. The larger the file, the better the resolution. We can also accept images as JPG (JPEG), GIF, BMP (Windows Bitmap), TIFF (Tagged Image), and PNG (Portable Network Graphics). 13. Will all of my original materials be returned to me?

Anything you send to Photos Transferred to DVD for inclusion in your slideshow (print photos, paper media, music CDs, photo CDs, etc.) is returned to you with your completed order. We do not keep or discard anything which is sent to us by our clients, and we handle your possessions with the greatest of care at all times.

14. Can I pick my own music?

Yes. We encourage you to pick music that you would like to hear with your slideshow. If you own an original copy of the music you would like to hear, please submit the CDs with your photographs. If you do not own the music, Photos Transferred to DVD will purchase it for you on your behalf and bill you accordingly.

15. Can you suggest music for my slideshow?

A suggested music list is available upon request.

16. Where do you get the background music?

All of our music is obtained and used legally. Photos Transferred to DVD DVD slideshows are not intended for public presentation; they are intended and created for private use only. You can send us a CD containing the music you want on the slideshow, or Photos Transferred to DVD will be happy to purchase your music for you through a legitimate online provider, and we will charge you accordingly. Once the music is in your slideshow we delete the files so that they cannot be used again. If you have concerns about the legality of using copyrighted music, please click here.

17. What if I want a refund?

Due to the time and labor involved in creating our DVD slideshows, Photos Transferred to DVD does not offer refunds. However, if notification is received within 30 days of shipping, we will be happy to edit your slideshow and make any required changes if you are not satisfied with your final product. Any errors (typographical errors, sequence errors, etc.) on the part of Photos Transferred to DVD staff will be corrected at no charge to you.
